This gorgeous faceted oval shaped Ethiopian opal has all the colors. It is set in 14 karat gold . The bail is bright cut (all work by hand ) set with 4 1.5 mm natural diamonds and the bottom of the pendant has three more larger lab grown diamonds clustered for some dainty sparkle. This piece was made from gold alloyed at my bench in a small batch. The 14 karat yellow came out beautiful. I wanted to make something that a person could wear as a daily driver or evening out.Be sure to take all Opals off for showers or if you expect drastic temperature changes in your environment . Opals need a little more tlc to keep their clarity. Never clean your Opals with anything harsh or wear them in chlorine . If your Opal gets wet be sure to dry them off with a soft natural fiber cloth and let them dry for a day or two before wearing them again. Don’t keep them in oil or plastic as this may induce a cloudy appearance.
